CHERYLONDA FITZGERALD  - BIOGRAPHY

 

A native of Louisville Kentucky, Cherylonda Fitzgerald moved to the Tri Cities area in 2003 by way of San Francisco where she had a career as a Digital Graphic Production Artist. She received her Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance and Music Education from the University of Louisville and her Master of Music in Cello Performance from S.U.N.Y. at Stony Brook. In addition to performing as a founding member of The Paramount Players, Cherylonda currently enjoys playing with various groups including the Asheville Symphony, the Johnson City Symphony, the Symphony of the Mountains, the East Tennessee Baroque Consort and Signature Strings. She also teaches cello privately and is adjunct professor of cello/bass at Milligan College.
